| I am glad that I have been able to shed some light for you. Doing so, however, has taken a large toll on my schedule, consuming nearly all of my time this past weekend. Nevertheless, I shall press on and strive to bring you the best, and the latest, information gathered here at the Kookaburra Daily Gazette.
Instead of reproducing the original article detailing more information on Edge as I promised in the last post’s article, I’ve decided to paraphrase for you. Who cares about details anyway? Well, then, let’s get started! I’ll first tell you about the ninja’s suit.
Over his years as a vagabond, Edge accumulated large amounts of soiled cloth (not in the bathroom sense!), dark with years of machine oil, dirt, charcoal, and ashes. To achieve true black, Edge had to collect the tears of an alpha male wolf (extremely rare). It is said that these dominant wolves only cry when the alpha female dies giving birth.
Now onto some of Edge's personal preferences. In a recent phone survey, some poor phone operator asked Edge who his favorite superhero was. Boy, was she in for a lecture on the intricacies of the similarities and differences between three major superheroes and Edge’s own personal experiences! I’m just going to highlight the important stuff here for you, folks!
Spiderman, the poster boy for melodrama and fantasy lovers both, just did not appeal to Edge’s tastes at the time. Since then, Edge has developed a sort of affinity for the wall crawler since he, too, feels that any one he loves is in danger.
Superman, the quintessential superhero, like Edge, lost his parents in a tragedy at a young age. To Edge, they both live in a world where they are at heart, foreign. Yet, everyone knows superpowers don’t actually exist. Pha! Besides, no one is invincible!
Batman, of course, is most similar to Edge in style and ability. Neither have superpowers; they are just that skilled on their own, though some are more skilled. Ironically, both lost their parents in almost the exact same way and at the exact same age. Similarities, for the most part, end there, however. Bruce Wayne inherited a fortune and position as a sort of prince of his city. Edge has spent more nights in a hovel than in any sort of secure, clean lodging. Batman has been very successful as a crime fighter, while we have not seen Edge successfully complete anything to this day. I said for the most part and not the whole part, because, most importantly, they share a like view on justice and how to go about bringing justice back into society.
The phone operator went on to ask Edge who his favorite action actor was. Edge’s response lacked little, if any, of the passion and insight displayed in his answer to the previous question.
The operator told me later that Edge, without hesitation, said, “Sylvester Stallone, for he most effectively captures the heart of a true warrior.” Well said, Edge! Besides, he was once told that he looks like Rocky.
Wait! The operator asked him one last question: what was his favorite TV show from childhood?
He replied, “Some children have more essential things to worry about than some trivial animated drawings or acne-riddled teenagers in fancy costumes running around pretending to be important, such things like trying to survive, for one!”
I hope this puts to rest speculation on Edge.
P.S. Rumor has it that Edge would choose Ninja Turtles over Power Rangers any day of the month. Supposedly, he sees some similarity between himself and the turtles. Both have lived in sewers, battle kleptomaniacs, and like to eat pizza. Edge also detests B-story melodrama.

| Since I was reading old posts (and laughing...a LOT), and there is much talk of Power Rangers vs. Ninja Turtles contained herein, I thought I would submit this for consideration:
Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles would not fight. They're all on the same side, so they would get along......unless someone turned the Ninja Turtles evil.........

It's kind of lame, but it fit the discussion so well, and it is an actual Power Rangers episode that was actually on TV and I actually saw it once.
