Of the choices you listed above, I'd have to say "The Detective" is my favorite because it's one of the few movies driven by a solid story...that and it leads up to the amazing Season Two Finale.

The Detective. It's a bold attempt to film an episode in a new style: noir. So cool...

I'm sad that I must not vote for two. Here Comes Smith brings more laughs to my cheeks than did any movie...

I like detective too (out of the ones listed) just because its different and cool. And Captain Jackson is a cool character.

My favorite episode over all though just may be the Season 2 Finale, great stuff, and classic.

Although I do like the alternate ending in The Crimson Edge...a solid Chief episode always does my heart good. And the flying pool balls montage is pretty shweet.
