| What if all the characters were related in some way? Like, what if Chief was secretly the great-great grandfather of Action and Insanity? And Edge was a third uncle? And the Pharoah was .... hmm.... their.... mom?...? | |

| Maybe...the Chief is actually Action's dad, but due to a time paradox he's also Action's son. So effectively he would be his own grandpa! | |

| As far as why Chief went crazy: - KG Editor wrote:
- Regardless of whether this next statement proves to have any import to the question at hand, it has been verified as to its own legitimacy. A few months ago, I contracted a team of some of the best behavioral physcologists in the region to analyze some clips of Chief. Judging by changes in the pattern of his speech, decision-making, posture, hygiene, visible emotions, etc., they have concluded that the Chief's mind is degrading. Their current theory is that his pending descent into what might be considered moderate senility bordering on mild insanity is genetic. They are currently in the process of searching for elder family relatives to observe. Their prognosis is that, barring psychological treatment and retirement, Chief's condition will only progress.
Can this be verified? I'm wondering about the Pharoah's past, and about who the Shogun in Samurai Gukido is, and about Dragon, Coonskin Kurt, Nick Sterling, and Captain Jackson's current states of affairs. Oooh, and the Blue Baron and Jim Baldwin. But mostly, what happened to Havoc Jack?

| Add to that list the past of the Three Ethans. And after Samurai Gukido successfully froze the heroes (3 of them anyway, and hiding them in various places around the world to give the new heroes a challenge), where did he go? Did he travel back into his past to live out a sweet life with his wife and kids in the tropics, or something? Did he go to the future to see whether the heroes beat Kamchatka? Hmm...I'm glad there are such things as time parodoxes. It means we can choose not to think about stuff. It would hurt too much, otherwise. | |

| Hmmmm... Interesting! We know that one of the Ethans became a current character. What if the other two are characters, too? I personally think that that there Red Claw seems to be hiding something. Why else would he always wear a mask? Perhaps... just perhaps, he is one of the 3 Ethans?
And seriously, Samuri Gukido. What if he did more than just put the heros in Cryogenic Stasis? What if he "modified" some other things? For example, it seems strange that there is a Fighter and Battler Academy, 150 years later, that is virtually identical to the original. Four old heros, and four new ones! Same offices. Smith comes and attacks the same place, etc. Seems like a type of Deja Vu, doesn't it?
Gukido? Was this your doing?

| To answer a few of your questions...I dug out the ol' Action Jones timeline.
Bear in mind it is not yet complete, but it does a good job pulling together a FEW of the loose ends you may be wondering about...more will come...
Also remember that the Action Jones universe does not follow the same timeline as ours...therefore AJ 1930 is nothing like our 1930, its simply a measure of time. __________________________________________
1847-Smith is born as the only male child to High King Smith of the Valley People. As such, he is revered as the legendary warrior that will one day lead his people to victory over all enemies. 1883-The notorious miscreant “Smith” finds a strange cloth with his name on it, he puts it on and gains immortality. 1933-Ethan Steele is born. 1940-Action Jones is born to Sarah and Jedidiah Jones. 1943-In order to save his family, Jedidiah leaves Icelandicville to start a penguin circus in the Western City. The plan fails and he is forced to become a “Guardian Hobo” to provide for his family back home. 1944-Insanity Tim is born. 1955-The Chief begins working for the Battler and Fighter Academy as a mission commander. 1956-A strange invader, the Pharaoh of Flush, attacks Icelandicville. No fighters can stop him until Action Jones faces off with him in the city square. It is an epic battle and Action ultimately defeats the Pharaoh who swears his revenge before he is sent back to the sewers. However, in the fight Action is electrocuted and his memory of the entire even is erased. 1957-Action Jones defends his home town of Icelandicville from the threat of a crazed beast known only as the “Giant Malorkien” 1957 (later that year)-Chief reads about Action’s heroics in “Battler’s Monthly” and personally flies down to recruit the promising young fighter. 1958- Action is placed on active duty and begins carrying out solo missions. 1960-Ethan Steele stops work as a Lumber Jack to explore the world and sharpen his fighting skills. During his travels he meets a pirate named Ethan Dove as well as a Ninja named Ethan Kobayachi. The three form a nomadic trio of fighters called The Three Ethans and travel from place to place, wherever their jobs may take them. 1961-Gregory Wilkinson hires the Three Ethans for a special mission. 1961 (one week later) -Gregory Wilkinson leaves a cryptic message at the Battler and Fighter Academy, he is going to find the ultimate power. Chief and Action decide to tackle this mission together and head to the forests of the Transiberian to stop the villain. They discover that Gregory is looking for the Sword of Invincibility, but in a battle against him the Three Ethans they are able to stop him from succeeding. They thought Gregory was killed when Action pierced him with his cap, but… 1961 (one day later)-A badly wounded, but very much alive Gregory stumbles across the Sword of Invincibility in the woods. He clasps the hilt and is filled with the ancient power of invincibility. He vows that one day he will control the world with his new powers and goes into deep into the earth to train at high levels of gravity. 1961 (later that week)-After his defeat at the hands of Action and Chief, Ethan Steel becomes disillusioned with his life thus far. Ethan Dove left the team, returning to his pirating ways, and Ethan Kobayachi was killed by Action Jones. Ethan Steele greatly respects Kobayachi’s selflessness and vows to follow in his steps as a Ninja, named Edge. 1963- The Government contacts Edge to ask for his help on a Doomsday Machine known as project Azerberjan. A young scientist named Captain Jackson is on the team as well. 1964-Captain Jackson leaves the project because he feels it is getting too dangerous. As a result, Edge creates a pair of sunglasses that will destroy Azerberjan if it ever gets out of hand. 1965-Edge activates Azerberjan for the first time. The machine turns on him and Edge is forced to destroy it. After the machine is gone Edge memorizes the only remaining copy of the plans and destroys them. 1965-1975- Action and Chief complete a few more missions before Chief settles down in an administrative position and Action becomes the field agent. Action mainly battles Pirates, and other traveling warriors. Many times he faces off against the ancient Scourge of the Heroes: Smith. 1977-Chief begins exploring Government records of Project Azerberjan. He discovers that The Glasses are hidden in a Government base. One night he sneaks out and steals them, knowing of their strength enhancing abilities. 1977 (the next day)- He gives the glasses to Action to test them out. Action leaves for a mission but is waylayed by Smith. After quickly dispatching the meddler, Jones is confronted by his old enemy, the Pharaoh of Flush! The Pharaoh exacts his revenge and electrocutes Action again. The Pharaoh leaves Jones’ body outside the battler and fighter academy were it is picked up by Agent Y of the Government. Meanwhile-Edge has gotten news through his connections that The Glasses have been stolen. Fearing that someone may re-create Azerberjan, he heads to the B&F Academy to re-acquire the Bifocals…

| So...the spry, martial artistical Ethan ended up being the pirate captain that Longbeard and the other measly Pirate managed to defeat? Hmm...they must have sunk pretty far, or aged a ton. | |

| Hahaha... this is so cool!
Great work, Chris. I can't wait to see the rest!
Idea: What if you put this up on the website as "Instalment 1," and put the rest up in seperate installments? That way you could spread out the fun. Plus, most people are daunted by a huge document of history. In smaller, clickable, spread-out-over-time-able pieces, however, I think more people might read it. It also lets you "save" your spot by remembering "oh yeah, yesterday I read up to installment 7"

| Not a bad idea, except there is still information to be weaved within what I posted above, and info that comes before. So...its really still a work in progress. Once we get the entire piece together it will be put up, perhaps in "chapters" I definetely would like (ideally) to include it as a fold out in the DVD box set...we'll see what time allows. | |
